Role: AI BSA Contract Location: Mountain View, CA | 3 days a week Hybrid Model Job Description: Introduction: The Finance Automation Center of Excellence (COE) is looking for an Finance Artificial Intelligence (AI) Product Manager that has work experience devoted to Finance based AI projects (AI Tools: OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Glean, Anthropic Claude, and more). The sheer power of structured data should scrub away layers of confusion and complexity, we just need to locate the most frequent manual tasks (Document Embedding, Chat Bots, Document Reading, Data Analytics, and more) to drive AI and increase strategic workloads throughout Finance at Intuit. This role requires an individual with hands-on experience driving AI projects from creation to realization. This can be accomplished by reviewing numerous scenarios and examining them in ways they have rarely been examined. Required Skills: Product Management Recent work experience delivering Finance AI capabilities required with extensive process design / walkthroughs experience. Constantly asking for the why behind the Finance team members project requests with the ability to create solutions to problems by defining the key requirements needed for delivery and creating a plan to achieve project completion. The candidate must have experience creating User Stories ideally in Jira, creating mockups ideally in Figma, creating documentation in Confluence Wiki supported by easy to follow workflows in Lucidchart or Microsoft Visio. The candidate must provide recent examples on how they shaped TO BE future user experiences into tangible user stories with proposals that build towards a Finance capability leveraging AI that will be delivered to production. The Product Designer must be very familiar with the frontend user experience and can translate Finance Pain Points into Initiatives that leverage multiple AI and automation tools with defined project milestones and accountable resources within an achievable timeline. The candidate must be able to provide a high level overview of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how recent use cases leveraged the SDLC. Process Architect This role will be devoted to extensive documentation of end-to-end new experiences. Current or past participation in an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) is extremely helpful to advance effectively in this role with a solid foundation with process assessment, definition and design work experience. Familiarity with Six Sigma Principles and experience with Intelligent automation tools, especially AI, will be extremely beneficial in this position. The candidate will have a proven methodology for driving unclear project requests through ideation, process assessment, gathering requirements, writing user stories, creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD) that result in Finance AI project deployments. Desired Skills: Partnership Meeting with multiple teams to understand the AI journey will be a daily experience. The candidate will be a role model, motivating AI subject matter experts to find a path to production within a condensed time frame. Being able to stay current with numerous projects in the AI areas and remain connected to the team members who are accountable to defining the process will be key. It will be fairly common to monitor / advance 50+ projects daily spanning multiple organizations at the same time. Keeping structured process documentation with action items with defined due dates will be part of the daily rhythm for this position. Clear communication and an excitement for meeting new team members will be ideal. Process Definition For AI projects it may be unclear when approvals from a team are required or not and if not accounted for early on in the process it will lead to missed timelines. The candidate will have to create a process that includes various approval checkpoints and be nimble enough to adjust the process for multiple projects midstream to accommodate a new requirement. Approval sources will include Application Owners / Product Owners, Engineering Management, Enterprise Security Leadership, Legal Partners, Internal Auditors, Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Experts and Cyber Security Professionals. Interacting with leaders in these capacities must be a part of the candidates recent experience and building a repeatable path forward must be an area of strength. The candidate must have at least 3 major projects where they have overcome these challenges to deliver a beneficial AI solution. Leaving a breadcrumb trail for how we can craft a repeatable process for others to follow will need to be something this candidate enjoys and has recent experience accomplishing. Solution Path Definer This role will partner with Engineering Teams to determine what information would benefit them for AI projects. Demonstrating a process re-engineering mindset is desired as the majority of our AI projects will start off unstructured, requiring the identification of gaps with defined solution plans and timelines to overcome them. While this is not an engineering role, this role needs to be very familiar with the common AI organizational challenges. To be productive this position will drive AI best practices, program awareness, avoid duplication of efforts and generate a sense of community that aligns with clean high level process documentation to benefit all AI projects and teams.
