| Role: .Net Solution Architect Location : Virginia Start date: 1st October Note: Client work hybrid 2 days per office (Tuesday and Wednesday), expectation is to work from office these 2 days. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect specializing in .NET Core, Azure, SQL Server, and Web APIs to lead the design and development of cutting-edge web applications and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, cloud services, and cross platform data exchange, with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and secure solutions in an Agile environment. This per Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design of applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. Work with internal business stakeholders and external vendors to match business needs and technical capabilities to deliver a system design that is efficient and robust. Technology Leadership: Guide the development team in implementing best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps, with a focus on .NET, SQL, Azure, and JavaScript/Typescript. Represent technology team interests in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Cloud Solutions: Design and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Service Bus or Event Hub, and other PaaS offerings. Front-End Development: Oversee the design and implementation of responsive, high-performance user interfaces. Integration & Data Modeling: Develop and manage real time data integration strategies, utilizing Entity-Relationship modeling, cloud-based data services, webhooks, Service Bus, and message consumers. Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX design, and DevOps, to deliver integrated solutions. Mentorship & Training: Provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development Experience 5+ years of experience in leading the technical aspects of a development team, with a strong focus on architecture. 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a deep understanding of .NET/C#, Azure, SQL, and JavaScript/Typescript. 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing solutions using .NET/C# and Azure services. 2+ years leading projects or teams in delivery of bespoke software solutions. Technical Skills Must have Expertise in cloud architecture, particularly on Microsoft Azure. Strong proficiency in .NET Core, including RESTful services Extensive experience with front-end development using Angular, including state management, routing, and responsive design. Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and Entity-Relationship data modeling. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management using Azure DevOps. Experience with database technologies, including SQL Server, and cloud-based data services. Experience with Microsoft Service Bus, Event Hub, RabbitMQ, or Kafka. Nice to have Experience leveraging webhooks for real time notifications and data transfer. Knowledge of application performance testing and optimization. Knowledge of web content management systems like Sitecore is a plus. Experience with search engines like Solr or Elasticsearch is desirable. Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
