| Title: Data Migration Consultant Location: Remote Visa: No H1B Education Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field or comparable related experience. Requirements: Candidates must have 3+ years experience with the following: Previous experience with data migrations and understanding of ETL concepts. SQL Writing complex queries and database views. Performance tuning of queries. Data analysis & reverse engineering data models. Business analyst skills Requirements gathering and documenting Application testing Preferred experience (and helpful for the role) Microsoft SQL Server Oracle Programming experience (Java) Some of the daily activities will include the following: Writing complex SQL queries, functions, and/or views on various data sources. Developing a strong understanding of target system architecture and available APIs for loading data. Contributing to solutions for loading data into target system. Assist with process, and migration tool development, as needed.
