We have an urgent opening with Data Analyst and I have sent you job description, please go through it and let me know your comfort with it and also send me your updated resume ASAP Job Title: Data Analyst Duration: Long Term Contract Location: Philadelphia, PA Hybrid 3 days onsite at PHL Airport Position overview / Statement of Work We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst for a temporary assignment to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role is to participate in mapping and documenting all existing data systems at PHL and well as collecting, reviewing, cleaning and preprocessing data from various systems. The secondary focus will be creating reports and visualizations of data. The ideal candidate will have strong analytic skills, be proficient in data manipulation tools, and possess a keen eye for detail. This position requires 3 or more years of experience working as a Data Analyst. Work activities: 1. Gather data from identified systems in various formats, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems 2. Review data for accuracy and completeness 3. Identify inconsistencies and anomalies within data 4. Clean data to eliminate duplicates, correct errors and fill missing values 5. Standardize data formats for consistency 6. Prepare data for integration into data lake 7. Collaborate with department analysts/business owners to understand data of identified systems 8. Collaborate with engineers, analysts and developers to assist in understanding and both upstream and downstream uses of data 9. Create comprehensive data mapping documents 10. Create data review and cleaning report 11. Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present data findings to stakeholders. 12. Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create interactive and intuitive visual representations of data 13. Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audience Required: 1. Strong SQL skills 2. Strong Analytical skills 3. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills 4. Aptitude for learning other analytical tools 5. 3 years experience as data analyst or similar role 6. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 7. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy Highly Desired/Preferred: 1. Experience with cloud platforms 2. Experience using Azure Data Factory 3. Experience using Python 4. Experience using AWS S3 5. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
