Location: Austin, Texas- Only TX candidates Duration: 12+ months Must Have- At least 1-2 Any state agency experience and any Department of Transportation experience is preferred . Responsibilities: Utilizing our client's templates to create testing-related documentation (e.g., Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Memos, etc.). Executing the Test Plans and Test Cases through all phases of the testing process, if required. Responsible for using Xray, or other Test Management tools, to manage test case execution. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or Worksoft Certify or similar tools. Managing the Defect Management Process, to include defect identification, resolution, and tracking. Responsible for working with the vendor to ensure defects are resolved in a timely fashion. Serving as the testing point of contact for vendors on various projects to co-ordinate testing activities. Managing defects using Jira or other Defect Management tools. Providing support (coordination) for UAT efforts, utilizing our client's division staff (users) for test execution. Providing testing guidance for various projects. Must Have: Years Skills/Experience 8+ Manual testing Experience (e.g., System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, etc. 8+ Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation 8+ Facilitating/coordinating User Acceptance Testing 8+ Using Jira, or other Defect Management tools (e.g., Octane) 8+ Xray, or other Test Management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail) 8+ Writing Automated Scripts 8+ Experience using Selenium or other automation tools Preferred (Optional): Years Skills/Experience 5 Writing automated test scripts 5 Experience using Selenium or other automated testing tools.
