Position: Certified SAP ECC6 Architect with AWS Location: (100% remote) Duration: 6+ months Job Description: We are looking for an SAP ECC6 Architect to work on a project. You will initially perform an assessment of requirements by supporting the Project Manager and all non-recurring activities related to the technical maintenance of SAP ECC6. Mission: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to... Report on-going activities around SAP landscape Collect and propose solutions to issues or change requests Ensure end to end process coherency Pro-actively propose enhancements in order to ease business processes Administer and maintain the SAP technical landscape and coordinates internal IT activities linked to this landscape. Responsible for the installation, and life-cycle technical maintenance of all SAP modules. As appropriate, provide escalated on-site support to resolve issues. Perform local administration and operations functions as appropriate in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. Support definition and deployment of local IS Security Policy in accordance with local regulations and applicable business requirements. Ensure the company IS Policies are applied within the full SAP landscape (especially security) Responsible for maintenance of SAP architecture documentation (technical and functional). Serve as the technical liaison to and from stakeholders and office key users for IT communications, initiatives, technical needs assessments, Provide escalated technical support that requires an on-site presence if possible. Perform complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patchs and re-installations in cooperation with the Enterprise Helpdesk and in accordance with established SLAs. Provide consulting/training/education services such as data management and staff training/orientation for standard SAP technical processes. Perform appropriate duties associated with division and IT project-based activities. Provides backup for other IT Operations Managers in the region. With IT, participates in the identification, development and communication of new technology standards and best practices as appropriate. Responsible for monitoring SAP landscape to ensure the system is in good health Required Skills and Experience: Deep understanding of all aspects of SAP ECC6 technical architecture. Required 8+ years of SAP ECC6 technical management of the system. SAP Certification required Deep knowledge of SAP ECC6 integration in an AWS cloud environment a must Knowledge of SAP ECC6 running on an AWS Gov Cloud preferred Well versed with technical documentation. Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to establish priorities and proceed with objectives without supervision.
