Position: Automation Software Quality Engineer Work Location: Rochester, NY (Remote) Required Work Authorization: USC, GC & H1-B Minimum Required Experience: 12+ Years Type of Hire: C2C Position Overview: This role is responsible for assisting in the implementation of automation software quality coordination and testing. They provide solutions for quality problems and continuous improvement opportunities, as well as help create processes that improve quality. Theyll utilize their knowledge of software development, debugging problems, and writing automated tests with various tools to ensure high quality software experiences. What You'll Be Doing: Develop moderately to highly complex automated testing scenarios for systems; identify all requirements to ensure all scenarios are accounted for. Determine requirements/user stories to accurately write test cases for ambiguous software needs. Utilize knowledge of requirements\\user stories to ask probing questions to ensure test cases are properly formulated; Follow standards to ensure metrics are working. Build out software automated release pipelines as needed. Code and modify software programs; solve problems at system and application code level. Test and debug code; maintain, modify, and integrate automated testing software solutions. Write SQL queries for moderately to highly complex problems. Perform manual\\automated testing using supported tools; Responsible for single test effort deliverables. What You'll Need to Have: Must have strong automation, Azure, and C# experience. 3 or more years experience in software development and testing. Cloud Computing Systems aptitude. Proficient in Object Oriented programming. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience working in an agile software development team. Experience with API test automation development. Experience with end-to-end browser test automation. Experience with Angular client development & test automation.
