As the technical leader of our mobile team, you will design and implement scalable, high-performance mobile applications using Swift for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android. This is a hands-on role where you will both lead the team and actively contribute to the codebase, ensuring the delivery of robust and user-centric mobile applications. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and technical strategy for our native iOS and native Android applications. Actively participate in hands-on coding using Swift for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android. Design, implement, and maintain mobile architectures that are scalable, maintainable, and secure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. Perform in-depth code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and maintainable code. Provide mentorship to the mobile development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to native mobile development. Oversee the full mobile development lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring high performance and smooth user experiences. Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies, and drive their adoption where relevant. Lead initiatives to improve app performance, reduce memory usage, and optimize battery efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS development using Swift and Objective-C. 5+ years of hands-on experience in native Android development using Kotlin and Java. Extensive experience with native mobile app architecture and design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER). Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and guidelines for both iOS and Android. Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and cloud services. Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of native mobile applications. Familiarity with iOS and Android development tools, such as Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle. Solid experience with version control systems, especially Git. Hands-on experience with CI/CD for mobile applications. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges independently. Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
