Position Overview The Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) seeking Project Manager for short term role to oversee various IT projects. The PMs will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Project Execution: Coordinate internal and external resources, manage project teams, and ensure project milestones and deliverables are met according to the project plan. Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project outputs meet required standards and stakeholder expectations.
