| Hi, Please find job description below; Visa USC, GC, GC EAD, H4 Active LinkedIn with profile picture. Position - Kafka Developer Location- Open to Remote / Prefers resources to be in Richardson, TX or Buffalo Grove, IL Duration - 6+ months to start Interview Richardson or Buffalo Grove (final interview would ideally be in person) - they are, however, open to out of state who will relocate day one. The Need Needs a lead (or two) on the team to help facilitate the growth of the team These resources will own individual streams Technical expertise in Confluent Kafka (Prod / Cloud / On Prem) in all areas Well versed with Kafka (architecture and how it works) to be able to explain to stakeholders Must be able to guide the team in the weeds and also work in partnership with stakeholders 50 / 50 - in weeds vs functional support Prefers to have them in Richardson or Buffalo Grove (final interview would ideally be in person) - they are, however, open to out of state who will relocate day one. USC / GC / RITS - no TPV Skillset: Administration of Confluent Kafka infrastructure Kafka brokers, Producer, Consumers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KsqlDB, Kafka streams. Monitoring and setup using Prometheus, Grafana and confluent control Centre Scripting using Shell and Python Infrastructure as Code- Terraform CI/CD using Jenkins Knowledge on GCP/AWS/Azure Cloud Managed/Custom Kafka connectors configuration Kafka development experience with Microservices/java/j2ee frameworks.
