About the role The Application Development Project Manager will lead and manage the software development lifecycle for various applications. This role involves working closely with developers, designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of application development processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members. What you'll do Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts. Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution. Manage team performance, provide feedback, and support professional development. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Gather and document business requirements, ensuring that the development team understands the project objectives. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business needs. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets. Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively. Track project expenses and ensure that projects are delivered within budget. Optimize resource utilization across multiple projects. Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that applications are thoroughly tested before deployment. Coordinate with QA teams to address any issues identified during testing. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, risks, and outcomes. Qualifications Flexibility to work across different time zones. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Confluence).
