Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, defining project scope and developing comprehensive project plans. Development: Oversee the development process, writing clean, efficient, and testable Java code. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards. Testing: Implement and oversee testing strategies, ensuring thorough testing and debugging of all features before deployment. Deployment: Manage the deployment of software solutions to production environments, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime. Software Maintenance and Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of existing software applications. Project Management: Lead project teams, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Leadership and Liaison: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives. Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliver quality services. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity. Technical Skills: Expertise in Java, Java EE, and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.). Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs). Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM tools. Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams. Adaptive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
