Someone that has previously worked for Deloitte, EY, or another well-known consulting firm vernacular has to be solid USC GC ONLY Resource Need: Sr. DevOps Engineer (Confluent Kafka/Cloud) What is the business driver for this resource need A skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 9 years overall experience with at least 5-6 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. This project is with Accenture for Capital One What are the day-to-day responsibilities Design and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes. Implement, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and smooth deployment processes. Manage and optimize Kafka clusters for real-time data processing. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and security. Continuously improve and streamline our DevOps processes and practices. Must- haves ( non-negotiable) : 1.Confluent Streaming Platform 2.Kafka 3. Cloud/devopps Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 5-6 years of experience in a DevOps role. 5-6 years of experience with Java. Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Kafka. Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker). Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
