Job Title : REDHAT OPEN SHIFT ENGINEER Location :US-Remote Duration : Contract Job summary: We are seeking an experienced Infra. Architect with a strong background in RedHat Linux Open Shift Manager to join our team as a Manager - Projects. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 14 years of experience and will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and secure operations, and contributing to the company's technological advancements. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to drive impactful outcomes. Required Skills: RedHat Linux Open Shift SME (5-7 years experience) Shift: Day Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Red Hat OpenShift container platform environments. Work closely with development teams to build and deploy cloud-native applications using OpenShift. Collaborate with architects to design scalable and resilient application architectures on OpenShift. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift platform and applications. Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for application deployment on OpenShift. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to containerization and orchestration. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Red Hat OpenShift container platform in production environments. Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration (OpenShift). Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or similar certification. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
