| Hello Role : Enterprise Architect - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure + Security Location : Remote || Anywhere in usa or canada. Canada, Toronto (Preferred) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to join our dynamic team. The OCI Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our organization and clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with OCI, strong technical acumen, and a deep understanding of cloud architecture and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Develop and design scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure architectures for various applications and workloads. Implementation: Lead the implementation of OCI solutions, including provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud services and resources. Cloud Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy, roadmap, and architecture standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud adoption and migration. Security & Compliance: Ensure that OCI solutions comply with security policies, regulations, and best practices. Implement and manage security controls and measures. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of OCI environments. Implement best practices for cloud resource management. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for OCI-related issues. Resolve incidents and ensure minimal downtime and disruption. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture designs, configurations, procedures, and policies. Create and update technical documentation as needed. Training & Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders on OCI technologies and best practices. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Oracle and other cloud service providers. Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and related technologies. Explore and propose innovative solutions to enhance cloud capabilities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, etc.). Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (Terraform, Ansible ,dePython, etc.). Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Work Environment: This role may require work from client sites or data centers in Toronto or Calgary. Flexible working arrangements may be available, including remote work options.
