Role :: Azure Data Engineer Location :: Union Beach, NJ/ Wilmington, DE(Need Local for Onsite) Type :: Contract Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in Azure technologies to join our dynamic data team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support our data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize and maintain existing data systems to ensure high performance and reliability. Monitor data quality and implement processes for data cleansing and validation. Create and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows. Stay updated on Azure technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in our data engineering practices. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure platforms. Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala. 5-7 years of Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and data security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure Machine Learning and Power BI is a plus. Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
