You will play a key role in leveraging BigID scans to identify, classify, and protect sensitive data across the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop custom regexes, analyze data, and create dashboards that ensure data accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct BigID manual scans to identify, classify, and protect sensitive data, creating custom regexes to detect specific data attributes. Collaborate with clients to remediate false positives/negatives found in BigID scans, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements. Investigate BigID scan findings, providing expert analysis and actionable recommendations. Design, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards related to scan coverage, PII identification, and data source inventory. Derive insights from scan automation data and correct any inconsistencies in dashboards. Work closely with data security teams to improve data classification, protection, and compliance. Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on using dashboards for data management and security purposes. Assist engineering teams with ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making and contribute to a data-driven culture. Stay up to date on data security trends, privacy laws, and dashboard technologies to ensure continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields. Proficient in Regular Expressions (Regex). Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong background in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and storytelling. Experience with Data Privacy/Data Discovery or BigID scanning tools. Expertise in Tableau for developing and managing dashboards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve false positives/negatives in scan results. Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance. Excellent communication skills and client consultation experience, particularly in remediation strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to learn new tools such as BigID and contribute to team goals. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in providing data analysis support to engineering teams. Knowledge of data security and data-driven decision-making best practices.
