Only local candidates! Need Cisco Network architecture experience. Should be technical and very client facing (will work with business) Immediate projects- architect a move from Checkpoint firewalls to Palo Alto Should have knowledge of considerations moving from on-prem to Azure Cloud (understand Azure overlay/underlay) Knowledge of Cisco Whitebox PCI compliance SDWAN They have a large cisco environment 100s of routers and switches, rail facilities, 15 physical buildings, transit stations, lift and water treatment stations Manage at scale- cisco patching Where should they be looking 5-7 years (hundreds of devices replaced yearly Working on standing DNA and ISE is a plus Objectives: Provide immediate network design and architecture support on existing projects. Develop a strategic architecture plan that aligns with the company's business goals and technological capabilities. Recommend scalable, sustainable, and secure technology solutions to drive business value. Facilitate the adoption of architectural best practices and frameworks. Assess the current state of network architecture and identify areas for improvement. Scope of Work: Assess current network architecture and make recommendations for improvements. Design and implement scalable and reliable network solutions to meet current and future business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide network architecture guidance. Implement security measures to protect the network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide guidance and support to junior members of the network team.
