| From: Ansar Alam, Resource Consulting Services Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Data Center Coordinator Location: Chicago only Duration: 6+Month Rate: $50/hr C2C Client is looing Data Center Coordinator to help maintain its vast fleet of servers located in data centers all around the world. The location for this position is based in Chicago, with some travel occasionally. The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience repairing computers and racking equipment. A significant portion of this position will be focused on coordinating installations and repairs at remote sites with external vendors, so discipline, attention to detail, and organization are paramount. Requirements: Open to working shift work: Tuesday- Thursday, mostly normal hours (9am-5pm, roughly) Fridays and SaturdaysMajority of work done in these days, majority Friday night through early morning Saturday Ideally, this candidate will have familiarity of computers and general server hardware knowledge. Previous experience in a data center is a requirement. The ideal candidate will have both basic server and networking troubleshooting skills. Being highly organized is a top requirement , as this role will be managing multiple (15-20) projects at once. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to accomplish tasks without micromanagement. This person should have communication skills, as they will be very hands-on with vendor relations. Former experience in the FinTech sector is not a requirement, nor is it preferred.
