Responsibilities: Design and develop automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards and build reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses Create/Maintain tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios Design and develop test plans, and test cases based on functional and design specifications, execute test cases, and analyze and report test results to the teams Work in partnership with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria Uses strong testing skills to provide guidance and assist project staff as appropriate Ensures best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule Focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, Database, UI (Multi-browser) testing requirements. Requirement: Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent 5+ years of strong experience in QA/testing Strong in API Testing, Data Testing, and SQL queries Strong knowledge of database, API, and software testing concepts Strong knowledge of coding skills in any programming language, preferably Python. Tosca Automation is a must Develop comprehensive test strategy, test plan, and test cases Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, QA methodologies, defect management systems, and documentation Experience in automation, automation frameworks, and automation delivery preferred Good at setting quality standards in various new testing technologies in the industry Good at identifying and defining areas to calculate the overall risk to the project and creating strategies to mitigate those risks and escalate as necessary Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies. Ensures best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule Focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, and Database testing requirements Participate in internal/cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, and technical reviews for assigned projects in an Agile environment Involved in requirements review and participate in architecture/design reviews with an emphasis on test automation/performance strategy and ensuring best practices Participate actively in functional, system, and regression testing activities Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery. Requirement: 8+ years of software testing experience in all testing phases including test planning, test execution, and test closure for all layer API, DB, and UI Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester 5+ years of experience creating/maintaining and executing automation tests utilizing tools such as Selenium required (Python essential). Tosca knowledge would be an added advantage 5+ years of experience in Agile processes (Scrum preferred) 3+ years of experience working with REST service and understanding of SOA architecture. Knowledge of OData and SOAP preferred Experience creating/maintaining automation frameworks preferred Experience with DevOps pipeline in containerized environment using Azure DevOps/Jenkins preferred Expertise using complex SQL to query databases required Expertise with DB process, data validation, transformation logic, and data migration Knowledge of file storage in S3, data validation with CLOB, BLOB, and messaging system Kafka, JMS preferred Ensure data accuracy and integrity by designing and executing test plans for ETL to ELT processes Develop automated testing scripts and monitor performance to optimize ETL/ELT workflows Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git Experience with test data management techniques Knowledge of Function as a Service, Container as a Service, and Data Virtualization (Denodo) preferred Experience with change management and defect tracking tools Well-versed with Defect Triage process and identification, and tracking of corrective actions Zeal to be a domain expert and learn new technologies Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication High standards of confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and trust Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS/Azure and experience in testing micro-services, and containers (Docker is preferred).
