They should have experience w/ Spark or Flink, and Java or Python programming languages (Java strongly preferred). -Not looking for engineers who build data pipelines, but rather looking for engineers who Build the PLATFORMS that pipelines live in. They'll be building the data solution itself. -For example, AWS's similar platform is *Kinesis* - Capital One wants to build their own homegrown version/platform, rather than risking external platforms to do this work. -The platform processes 10 trillion records per month, hoping to go up to 100 trillion by EO next year.
