Informatica Admin/Support - Duties and responsibilities

Informatica Admin with 7+ years of experience and

Understand basic concepts and functions of Informatica

Proficiency in utilizing ETL tool Informatica Power Center

Export, Import objects and manage schema objects

Design build Mapping, sessions workflows and schedule their run

Identify performance issues and recommend performance tuning approach

Identify failures in workflows due to data quality or constraint failures and suggest solution

Strong SQL knowledge, which include read, understand queries and write new queries

Development and QA Support 

Detailed knowledge of SQL

Worked in SDLC phase and high demand environment

Deployment of Informatica code from one environment to another

Code version management and code synch process.

Knowledge to additional technologies (not mandatory)

Oracle PL/SQL

SQL Server Development

Workload automation

Service Now and Change Management Process

Problem-solving skills  Strong problem solving skill, creative and technical problem-solvers, able to isolate and resolve database issues in real time to maintain access and data integrity

Communication skills 

Respond to issues in timely manner, clearly elaborate problem and propose solution

Communicate with application teams, listen and respond to their queries and concerns
