This role involves reviewing log events, operating network management applications, and performing fault detection and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications, strong technical skills, and the ability to support specific service level requirements. Essential Skills & Responsibilities: Network Support: Provide support for switched LAN networks. Review log events and operate network management applications. Perform fault detection and identify performance metrics. Generate reports to support specific service level requirements. Certifications: Cisco certifications in one or more of the following areas: Voice (e.g., VoIP) Conferencing (e.g., VTC) Routing and Wide-Area Network (WAN) Wireless Security Switching Certifications or training in the following areas: HCI Hyperflex (Networking, Hosting, NSX, & Storage) BICSI RCDD Palo Alto BAE Guard TACLANE Operator COMSEC Custodian Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting switched LAN networks. 7 years of related experience to job duties. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance or equivalent. Qualifications: Proven experience in network support and management. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with network management applications. Relevant certifications and training in Cisco and other specified technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to generate detailed reports. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
