IT Project Manager (Service Now) in Cary, NC    with our client. Kindly review the job description below and see if it might be an option worth considering.

Job Title :

IT Project Manager (Service Now)

Location :

Locals only! - Onsite Day 1. -

Cary, NC -

Onsite from Day 1 (required 4 days onsite)

Duration :

: 6-12+ months

VISA : USC, GC, GC-EAD is acceptable

Must show proof of GC-EAD

Proof of location is required to submit 

Interview: Required to attend a face-to-face onsite interview.

Job Description: 

The role is for a PM / Product Owner / Application Manager.

Its good to have ServiceNow application management or project experience, but not as an end user of ServiceNow.

We can consider someone without ServiceNow experience, however, they need to have experience in deployment and release management.

They need to understand app change management and be able to run the show with business and IT teams end to end.

The customer will help this person understand the process / policies etc.. and if they can work on getting requirement / managing vendor / delivery of the product backlog in an Agile way of working, that would be great.

Manage Service Delivery for Quote/Proposal Management Application (ServiceNow) as a proxy Product Owner/Application Manager.

Responsibilities:

Review upcoming business change requests with multiple businesses.

Document details of IT changes that will be occurring for the product.

Coordinate and resolve gaps in information and prioritize the execution of changes along with the Business.

Organize changes in sprints with the implementing teams.

Proactive Communication of timelines of changes and upcoming releases.

Mange the timely delivery of work with multiple teams.

Identify and escalate Risk/delays proactively.

Make sure all agreed documentation and sign offs are captured as per internal IT process.

Coordinate Release management, test management, and change management in Azure DevOps.

Manage Upgrade (Test / validation) of the application to next version of ServiceNow

Provide daily operational support to the Product Owner.

Desired Skills:

Experience managing medium to large sized projects in Agile or Hybrid way.

Working experience in a large multinational, geographically diverse environment.

Experience with ServiceNow based application development.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.

Education:

 Bachelors degree in science, Business or related disciplines or equivalent work experience
