From: Subhash Tamta, Convextech.inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Software Architect (.NET) Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6 months contract Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT ( but able to travel quarterly to Sacramento, CA (expensed)) Job Description: Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and systems development -Proven experience designing and architecting highly scalable cloud native web applications 4+ years of hands Software Architect with expertise in .NET Core Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure 3+ years of experience with open source RDMBS technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and designing efficient data models -Extensive knowledge/experience in objectrelational mapping in Entity Framework Advanced experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management Understanding of security best practices and implementing measures to protect web applications from potential vulnerabilities Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. 3+ years of experience working with containers and orchestration, specifically Docker and Kubernetes. 3+ years of recent experience producing and maintaining detailed technical architecture diagrams, documenting the logical and physical system architecture components, and establishing traceability between the business functions and system components. Recent experience architecting technical solutions around Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), National Human Services Interoperability Architecture (NHSIA), and/or California Enterprise Architecture Framework (CEAF) 3+ years of recent experience developing prototype or a reference implementation of a system design as part of the elaboration of the system architecture to the engineering organization. Responsibilities: Focused on collaborating with both internal and customer stakeholders to create a technical roadmap and solution design. The Technical Architect will be then be responsible for working hands on alongside multiple development teams to ensure successful development and implementation of the initial products and applications in the solution. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in both technical/solution architecture as well as hands on experience developing robust and scalable cloud native applications from the ground up. Additional responsibilities include: Design and architect scalable, robust, and maintainable web applications. Evaluate and research technology options and make engineering design decisions Leverage open-source technologies and communities Create and maintain architectural design documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, DevOps engineers, and other developers Interface between development team and product stakeholders Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and architecture to continuously enhance the team's skill set and maintain our competitive edge.
