Coordinate with DevOps: Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure that release schedules align with deployment pipelines and infrastructure readiness. Configuration Management: Manage Configurations: Oversee configuration management, ensuring that all environments (development, Lower Envi., production) have the correct configurations. Version consistency: Ensure proper version control practices are followed and that all code and configuration changes are tracked. Deployment Execution coordination: Overseeing Deployments steps: Facilitate the technical aspects of deployment processes, including automated builds, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD). Coordinate Rollouts activities: Plan and manage activities and post red-green deployment status to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions to the dependent teams and Stake holders Technical Issues resolution coordination: Facilitate Team rooms for Problems: Acknowledge and involve right Teams to resolve technical issues or failures that occur during deployment or post-release. Support Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise in production environments. Environment Management: Setup and Maintain Environments: Ensure that all technical environment deploys are (development, testing, staging, production) are properly configured and validate with Evidence Environment Consistency: Maintain consistency across environments to reduce the risk of deployment issues. Integration and Testing: Coordinate Integration: Oversee the integration of new releases with existing systems and services and call out the dependencies and risks and get approvals with Release management team Ensure Testing: Ensure that integration and system tests are conducted with Technical Leads and pro-actively address issues are get them resolved before deployment. Documentation and Reporting: Document Processes: Create and maintain technical documentation related to release processes, configurations, and deployment procedures like Tech. Execution plans, Run deck, Test plan evidence Prepare Reports: Generate reports on release status, deployment metrics, and any issues encountered. Collaboration and Communication: Technical Coordination: Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and other technical teams to ensure smooth releases. Facilitate Communication: Communicate technical details and updates effectively to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. Post-Release Activities: Conduct Post-Mortems: Lead post-release reviews to analyze the success of the release, identify any issues, and implement improvements for future releases. Manage Rollbacks: Develop and execute rollback plans if a release needs to be reverted. Automation and Tools (Good to have ) Implement Automation: Develop and manage automated deployment scripts and tools to streamline the release process.
