Job Title: IT - Automation Tester Position Location: fully remote Intended length of Assignment: 6 months before FTE consideration Work Permit: USC, GC or GC -EAD Only! Summary: The main function of an Automation Tester is to code, test, and verify the quality of automated applications to identify errors and solutions in the software. Additionally, automation testers will develop automated systems for processes that have yet to be automated. Job Responsibilities: Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation Attend agile ceremonies Complete assigned user stories within a Sprint (sprints are at least once a week) Collaboration with Kanban team members for solution designing Working w/business partners and crew members; being a team player -Ability to recognize and address any blockers Skills: Required: Git, SQL (MS), Java, SQL, Cucumber, TestNG, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Selenium WebDriver - minimum 3 years. 8+ years of relevant experience required. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills Experience with automation testing applications such as: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, TestComplete, Etc. Strong knowledge of coding languages utilized in automation software, such as Python, Java, Javascript, C#, Etc. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Demonstrated history of success Nice to Have: Jboss, VSCode, SQL Developer, Spring Boot, Junit, Postman, JDBC, Apache POI, Kafka, Angular/React/Vue, Karate, HTML, CSS, JS, Python, Gherkin, XML, YML, Dockerfile, Windows/Linux, Oracle SQL, MySQL, GitHub, Apache Maven, Jenkins Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field or equivalent work experience required.
