| Job Title: Build Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Build Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in our software development process. As a Build Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our build systems and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain build systems and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Monitor and troubleshoot build failures and other issues. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code. Maintain documentation related to build and deployment processes. Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency with build automation tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps). Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, Mercurial, or Perforce). Ability to write scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages. Experience in programming languages (C++, Java, or C#). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools. Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform). Proficiency in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments. Soft Skills: Problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix build failures efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. Attention to detail to ensure build accuracy and reliability. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support continuous improvement. Experience: Previous experience in a build engineering or similar role. Proven track record of managing and improving build systems.
