| Direct client position Position: Java Database Developer Duration: 11 Months Location: TX (100% Remote) Agency: Health and Human Services Commission JOB ID: 537501170 Client: State of Texas DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 , hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission . All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s). CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required 8 years experience Hands-on Strong experience in Java development, including extensive experience with J2EE, Servlet and related technologies. Required 8 years experience Hands-on Strong experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST). Required 8 years experience Hands-on Strong development experience in implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Java security authentication and authorization of service and user accounts Required 8 years experience Hands-on Proficient in using Servlets, Spring and Spring Batch for web application development. Required 8 years experience Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Maven & Jenkins. Required 8 years experience Hands-on Experience in Full Stack Development and working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and JSF and Prime Faces 7.0. Required 8 years experience Hands-on Experience in design and development of XSD and schematron data validation rules Required 8 years experience Hands-on Experience in at least one application server configurations (WildFly, Tomcat or WebLogic) Required 8 years experience Expert level understanding of Mongo DB and Postgres databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, aggregate operations and performance tuning. Required 8 years Experience in designing & optimizing database queries and procedures in Postgres and Mongo DB Required 8 years Experience in ad hoc data analysis and reporting. Preferred 8 years experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred 8 years experience Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Preferred 2 years experience Familiarity with Azure App Services & Cloud Services.
