Job Title: Health Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Hybrid Harrisburg, PA Duration: 6 months Work Authorization: No H1b/CPT MOI: Skype Job Description: OPERATIONALREQUIREMENTS The selected contractor must demonstrate knowledge of data modernization, data governance, data interoperability & integration and data security. The contractor will be required to: Review priority health systems to assess if there is a streamlined process to correct errors and adequate data quality measures. Facilitate discovery and requirement sessions with key stakeholders all data modernization efforts within the department and other agencies Identify gaps in data required for analysis and interoperability with healthcare IT systems that provide data to the Department for each of the public health surveillance systems. To improve transparency and trustworthiness, develop a centralized, digital approval process for dashboards and prepared datasets that are made available external to the program areas that ensure the data source, analysis methods, primary point of contact, date of last update, and frequency of updates are documented and readily available to the users of the data. Establish an enterprise inventory of datasets and dashboards with appropriate descriptive information about the datasets. Create a procedure to ensure the data inventory is updated periodically. Document priority health data assets and coordinate with IT and the EDW teamsto ensure they are in scope to be on boarded to the data lake and enterprise data warehouse. Participate in analysis and visualization for quick wins, including dashboards which combine relevant information and metrics e.g. breakthrough cases or skilled nursing facility metrics, as assigned. Ensure enterprise requirements are developed in addition to program requirements, understand the integration touch points of various programs and the broader enterprise view of data, including timely refreshes. Understand UMPI and enrichment enterprise implications in addition to individual program requirements. Document requirements for extending the Master Patient Index to other agencies, with emphasis on the Health Hub and PHC4. CONTRACTOR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS This position requires a high degree of skill, leadership, the ability to take initiative, and dedication.
