Job Role: Project Manager Location: NJ or GA Duration: 12 Months Visa: No CPT/OPT/H1B Client: Telecom JOB DESCRIPTION: Position will be responsible for managing projects from information technology delivery perspective. IOT is a critical part of this role. This job will be shared with Innova internal and external candidates to hire the best for this critical role. Key areas of expertise will include but are not limited to: Engagement and Leadership Engage and build strong partnerships with Business Partners. Coach and Lead the Development and Testing Teams in self-organisation and cross-functionality to create high-value products or services. Facilitating events as requested or needed. Engage project teams in diversified organisational environments involving Offshore, Onshore and different vendors. Strategically plan and manage delivery roadmap and timelines. Communication Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills to enable transparency and clarity among project team members and management. Communicate risk assessments in timely manner Communicate governances related to delivery and projects. Able to articulate and resolve conflicts. Collaboration Strong Jira and Agile understanding and experience are required for this role. Administrating, managing and monitoring Jira boards, story mapping and release related activities are expected as mandatory tasks for this role. PM/Scrum Master must show flexibility in adapting to Verizon approved tools like Clarity, Jira,BlueJeans, Webex, G-suite Reporting Providing daily and weekly statuses is also a mandatory responsibility of a PM Other Strengths: Previous Telecom experience preferred (not essential) Awareness of key strategic product offerings such as5G, FIOS, Fixed Wireless Access (not essential but nice to have) Working at the exec level as when needed Minimal supervision required Experience in understanding different business structures and being able to manage enterprise level projects.
