Job Title: SRE Engineer Location: Mountain view CA (Hybrid/Onsite) Type: : Long Term Contract Skills AWS (ALB, WAF, Gateway, etc.) K8S (autoscaling, etc.) Language : Python / GO / SHELL Jenkins GitHub Monitoring Tools (Prometheus/Wavefront/Splunk/Grafana/PagerDuty) Service Mesh Basics (Istio, Envoy, etc.) Responsibilities Deployment of Gateway and Service Mesh components. Driving Go/No-Go Meeting on bi-weekly basis. Operational Work Perf/ Stability / Capacity Testing FMEA Recommendation from the testing and FMEA to improve the systems. Participation in Identity failover to represent Traffic. Scaling of Traffic Systems Monitoring the system and performance. Alert creation and improvement ( Splunk, Wavefront, Pagerduty) Automation to improve the alerting, deployment, release process Automate the Day to day manual tasks. Data Collection Thread dump, Heap Dump, Packet Capture Usage Data from Splunk, Wavefront, ODL Participation in the CG / SBSEG Load Testing Driving RTB program with Traffic customers which involve working with customers.
