We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join our team for a 12-month onsite contract in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, query optimization, and query tuning techniques, along with deep expertise in Oracle and SQL databases. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize data models to support business needs and requirements. Implement and refine query optimization and query tuning techniques to ensure efficient database performance. Collaborate with data architects, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure database solutions are scalable and high-performing. Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into data models and database designs. Analyze complex SQL queries and optimize them for better performance. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues in Oracle and SQL environments. Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems. Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Modeler with strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases. Expertise in query optimization and query tuning techniques. Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. Experience in designing and maintaining logical and physical data models. Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
