| Job Title: Network Security Engineer Location: Hybrid- Houston, Texas Duration : 6+12 Months Rate : 50/hr on C2C Visa : USC/GC Only only 5 to 5+ years experience resume will work Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in network security to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Fortinet technologies, particularly SD-WAN and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including FortiGate and FortiAnalyzer. Additionally, experience with MPLS, Broadband LTE, Cisco, VMware, and Palo Alto is required. This role demands a proactive approach to managing and securing network infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of performance and security. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Fortinet SD-WAN and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), with a focus on FortiGate. Utilize FortiAnalyzer for network analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Maintain and troubleshoot MPLS networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Manage and secure Broadband LTE connections, ensuring seamless integration with existing network infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust network security solutions. Provide hands-on support and maintenance of Cisco, VMware, and Palo Alto network equipment. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates to protect against emerging threats. Act as a subject matter expert on network security, providing guidance and training to junior engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security. Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer with a focus on Fortinet technologies, including SD-WAN and NGFW (FortiGate). Strong expertise with Fortinet Analyzer for network monitoring and analysis. Hands-on experience with MPLS and Broadband LTE technologies. Proficiency in Cisco networking equipment and VMware virtualization. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
