The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of real-time prescription benefits transactions and optimized claims processing. This role requires a strong technical background, along with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development goals while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Project Scope: The D0 and F6 NCPDP standards aim to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of pharmacy-related transactions. D0 enhances the claims processing system by allowing for better coordination of benefits, accurate billing, and support for complex medications like compounds. F6 focuses on real-time prescription benefit transactions, enabling prescribers to access up-to-date information on patient benefits, such as copy, formulary status, and prior authorization requirements. Together, these standards streamline the healthcare workflow, reducing administrative burdens and errors. Ultimately, they ensure faster, more transparent service for both patients and providers, enhancing the overall efficiency of pharmacy benefit management.
