| Title: Application Support Engineer Location: Remote Candidates must reside in California Duration: 6+ months Rate: $75.00/hr C2C Work Authorization: USC or GC Must-Have Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology supporting business applications and/or middleware (5 years of experience preferred). Prior experience working within a health plan/health insurance environment. Windows Server OS and virtualization (VMWare in particular), possess server OS administrator experience Must have supported a minimum of 3 applications listed below: Facets HealthRules QNXT MyQNXT EAM (Enrollment Administration Manager) Optum CES (Claims Editing System) Optum PPS (Prospective Payment System) Optum Easy Group Optum Rate Manager NetworX Pricer NetworX Modeler Edifecs Typical day-to-day for the candidate involves but is not limited to participating in daily scrum meeting/s, working tickets related to service requests/incidents/changes, upkeep of CMDB records, monitoring for application performance, engaging with internal customers and other departments, following/writing desktop level procedure documentation, cross-training members, involved in project work for application implementation/upgrades, administering single-sign-on application interface, management of application Role Based Access Security, baseline testing of applications, and other duties which may pertain to keeping business applications and services stable and secure. The ideal candidate should have professional experience and be comfortable supporting tiered enterprise applications. They should also be able to read/write system designs, be familiar with Windows Server OS and virtualization (VMWare in particular), possess server OS administrator experience, support web services, and certificates, and work well with others.
