The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing large-scale HR technology projects, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, develop clear project plans, and deliver solutions on time and within budget. This fully remote role requires exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved.Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead and oversee the end-to-end Workday HCM implementation project from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring clear communication, direction, and performance from the project team. Team Building: Build and develop a project team to maximize performance, ensuring the team is aligned with the projects purpose, goals, and timelines. Project Planning: Define and manage project schedules, scopes, and budget estimations. Create detailed implementation plans and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies. Resource Management: Coordinate both internal and external resources, ensuring all parties are aligned with project objectives and deadlines. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and addressing changes or issues as they arise. Process Management: Develop and maintain robust processes to manage project scope, quality, and performance standards. Regularly assess project risks and adjust plans as needed. Vendor Management: Manage partnerships with third-party vendors and resources, ensuring efficient use of external expertise and services. Reporting: Provide clear and timely reports to management on project outcomes, risks, and necessary escalations to ensure issues are addressed according to the project plan. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on the development, coordination, and implementation of changes and improvements in HR and other management systems as they relate to the department.Required Skills and Qualifications: Project Management Expertise: Proven track record in managing large-scale Workday HCM implementations or other HR technology projects, including scope, schedule, and budget management. Leadership Skills: Experience building and leading cross-functional project teams, with a focus on driving performance and delivering results. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear updates on project progress. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges and deliver effective solutions. Vendor Management: Experience managing third-party vendors and resources, ensuring project objectives are met efficiently. HR Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of Workday HCM and experience with HR management system implementations.Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: PMP or other relevant project management certifications. Workday Experience: Previous experience in Workday HCM implementations will be highly regarded.
