Sr. ServiceNow Developer Location: Herndon, VA or Washington, DC (Onsite) Local Only Duration: 6+ Months Visas: Only GC/USC MOI: Skype Client: Not Disclosed Must have LinkedIn Id We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, and the ability to manage complex development tasks, ensuring they meet client needs and business requirements. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions on the platform. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, etc.), as well as ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules. Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies relevant to ServiceNow. Expertise in developing custom applications, business rules, UI actions, scheduled jobs, and workflows within ServiceNow. Experience with ServiceNow Integrations using REST, SOAP, and other API technologies. Strong understanding of ServiceNows platform architecture, best practices, and development life cycle. Experience in administering, maintaining, and upgrading the ServiceNow platform. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. ServiceNow Certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or other relevant certifications) are highly preferred. Preferred Experience: Experience in developing solutions within other ServiceNow modules, such as SecOps, GRC, or CSM. Experience with ITIL framework and processes.
