Job Title: AWS Architect Client: Mphasis Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 days in office per week) Contract Type: C2C (Corp-to-Corp) Rate: $80/hr C2C Experience Required: 15+ Years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect for a hybrid role with Mphasis, based in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of IT experience with significant expertise in AWS cloud solutions. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable cloud infrastructures and driving cloud transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: AWS Architecture & Design: Design highly scalable, reliable, and cost-effective AWS-based solutions in alignment with client requirements. Cloud Migration: Lead cloud migration strategies for transitioning on-premise infrastructure to AWS. Automation & Orchestration: Implement automation and DevOps best practices using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Lambda. Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure security, governance, and compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance of cloud infrastructure. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to understand project scope and deliverables. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior cloud engineers and provide architectural oversight to development teams. Skills & Qualifications: 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years focused on AWS Cloud architecture. Expertise in AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront, VPC, CloudFormation, and API Gateway. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins. Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures. Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines on AWS. Strong background in security, including identity management, encryption, and monitoring in AWS. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical details to non-technical stakeholders. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly preferred.
