Job Description - Power Platform Developer Need Local to MN consultants Depending on experience Remote Certification of power tools Power Platform Developer Design and develop a fully accessible Power Platform application for internal and external users. Develop and integrate PowerApps, Power BI, Dataverse and SQL Server, and one of the following (.NET, JAVA, C#) for custom coding using industry standards and best practices. Serve as a Power Platform subject matter. Sample Tasks Use Power Platform on Azure infrastructure for software development. Use a data gateway to write and retrieve data between any developed Power Apps canvas applications and an Azure Managed MS SQL database. Use a data gateway to write and retrieve images and objects between any developed Power Apps canvas applications and Azure BLOB / File Storage. Use Azure Active Directory to set up user authentication on any developed Power App canvas applications. Design, code, test, and software deployment activities. Assist with network cross-domain coding, access, and troubleshooting to accommodate application (Power Platform), data gateway and Azure data and file storage infrastructure. Build front-end user interface as a canvas application using Power Apps. Perform knowledge sharing/transfer with embedded MNIT/MnDOT staff. Write or Supply product technical architecture documentation. Desired Skills Three (3) years experience in Microsoft (MS) PowerApps development. Microsoft (MS) InfoPath development experience substitutes for one year. One (1) year experience in Microsoft (MS) Power BI development. Two (2) engagements with each lasting more than six (6) months in PowerApps Developer role. Two (2) engagements with each lasting more than six (6) months in Dataverse or SQL Server Developer role. Two (2) years experience in JAVA or .NET or C# development. Experience making applications ADA accessible to meet WCAG 2.1 standards. Experience in other Power Platform components. Experience in mentoring other developers on Power Automate and PowerApps OR new programming language or framework.
