Job Title: Data Scientist / Machine Learning Lead Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite) Type: : Long Term Contract Experience Level: 11+ Years Job Overview: Highly experienced Team Lead Data Science Strategist with a strong background in Python and SQL Natural Language Processing NLP experience is a plus This role combines technical leadership strategic thinking and handson expertise to drive innovative data science solutions The successful candidate will lead a team of data scientists engage with stakeholders at all levels and design strategies to leverage data insights for business growth Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Road mapping oDefine and implement the data science strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives oLead strategic initiatives around data science AI and machine learning oCollaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can provide business value oDevelop roadmaps and timelines for data science initiatives ensuring alignment with broader business goals oKeep up to date with the latest developments in data science to propose new projects and solutions Team Leadership Development oLead and mentor a team of data scientists and data engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment oProvide technical guidance and direction to the team in areas such as machine learning data modeling and NLP oDrive continuous learning within the team encouraging best practices in coding data analysis and problemsolving Technical Expertise HandsOn Work oDesign develop and deploy data science solutions using Python SQL oImplement machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling classification clustering and sentiment analysis oOptimize SQL queries for largescale data processing and integration with machine learning models oCollaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and availability Project Management Execution oOversee the entire lifecycle of data science projects from ideation through deployment and monitoring oManage project timelines resources and deliverables ensuring the successful completion of initiatives oEnsure all models and solutions are thoroughly tested validated and optimized for performance in production environments oContinuously improve model accuracy efficiency and scalability by applying best practices and leveraging new technologies Key Qualifications: Experience: o12 years of experience in data science machine learning and AI with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role oExperience in designing and deploying NLP solutions in realworld applications is a plus oDeep handson experience with Python SQL and librariesframeworks related to data science eg pandas NumPy scikitlearn TensorFlow PyTorch Technical Expertise oExpertlevel proficiency in Python for data analysis machine learning oStrong SQL skills for data extraction transformation and processing from large databases oFamiliarity with cloud platforms AWS GCP or Azure and experience deploying models in production environments oExperience with MLOps and version control tools Git Docker etc is a plus Leadership Communication oStrong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and guide teams oExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences oDemonstrated experience in collaborating with crossfunctional teams and managing stakeholder expectations Project Management oExperience in managing and delivering multiple data science projects simultaneously oAbility to set priorities manage resources and deliver results under tight deadlines Preferred Skills Degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field Familiarity with big data tools Spark Hadoop and distributed computing Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib for reporting insights Skills Databricks-SparkSQL-Scala/Python/Java Your sincerely , Ajay Sharma | Sr. Technical Recruiter.
