Job: QA ETL Automation Tester Location: Charlotte, NC (Locals preferred) Experience: 10 Onsite from day one. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using Java, Selenium, Python, and ETL tools to ensure the highest quality standards for our applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks and test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Python, and ETL tools. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand the requirements and functionality to automate. Develop test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data. Execute automated test suites, review results, and report and track defects in a timely manner. Work closely with the development team to integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, troubleshoot, and report issues to the development team. Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the software delivery process and actively contribute to process improvements. Maintain a repository of regression and functional test cases. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and enhance the existing automation framework to improve efficiency. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality. Participate in design and code inspections, as well as product backlog refinement sessions. Conduct ETL testing and validation to ensure that the data extraction, transformation, and loading processes meet business requirements. Document, maintain, and monitor software problems using a bug tracking system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Python, and ETL testing tools. Experience with source control systems (e.g., GIT), SQL databases, and scripting. Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
