| Job Title: Senior Data Protection EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Engineer to join our team and ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based data. As a Senior Data Protection Engineer, you will provide Tier 3 support, engineer automation solutions, and participate in the implementation of complex data protection technologies. Responsibilities: Provide Tier 3 support and engineering for data protection technologies. Develop scripting and best practices for automation using Terraform and GitHub. Create technical and engineering documentation. Participate in the research, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of data protection technologies for GCP and Azure. Collaborate with encryption technology vendors to ensure alignment with security requirements. Work with partner Engineering Teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities. Conduct risk assessments of infrastructure to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and industry best practices. Manage key and secret management platforms, including reviewing logs, writing scripts for automation, and taking technical actions to maintain infrastructure health and availability. Qualifications: 4+ years of information security applications and systems experience. 3+ years of experience with API or code development for automation using Terraform, Python, and Harness. 3+ years of experience with encryption or related data protection technologies and secrets management. 1+ year of experience with Linux operating system or Kubernetes engineering and automation. Cloud certification for either Google or Azure. Desired Qualifications: Proven written and verbal communication skills with both Business/Management and Technical/Engineering resources. Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies. Experience with AKV (Azure Key Vault). Knowledge of server/file encryption technology, encryption key management, and information security policies related to cloud computing. Experience with infrastructure upgrades, security patches, or version upgrades. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Knowledge of cryptography and key management. Knowledge of leveraging and administering digital certificates and keys for authentication and encryption. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Customer service experience. Experience facilitating meetings with remote team members. Advanced problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
