Build: reporting and dashboards that quantify scope of issues and measure improvements from mitigation strategies. Optimize: develop data driven perspectives on areas of potential and actual financial loss. Define opportunities for improvement. Quantify current and future scenarios for presentation to internal stakeholders for prioritization. Innovate: think outside-the-box, leverage data, and build insights to create business cases This role is critical to maintain reporting to focus resources. Additionally, this role needs to be able to receive a risk issue (problem statement) and determine which tables and columns must be queried to determine the size and scope of the problem as well as find the best attribute to mitigate the issue. Skills and Qualifications: College degree required Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel. Skills with pivot tables, vlookup, advanced formulas, etc. Extensive experience in data mining, analysis, business case development and reporting. Expert skill in SQL and Tableau Ability to work with large data sets Familiarity with the identification and resolution of issues working with disparate sources of data and data quality issues. Passion for identifying issues and driving initiatives to improve them. Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations. Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities. Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Experience with Confluence and Jira Creative problem solving Skills and Qualifications Kibana experience a plus Additional visualization tools like Power BI and MicroStrategy a plus Passionate business contributor who can see the big picture.
