About the Role DGS is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to assist in the daily management of the agency's managed Windows and Linux-based servers, applications, and client resources. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day AWS server and client operations, including backups and provisioning of all types of AWS storage. Work with AWS serverless technologies and orchestration tools to build scalable and automated cloud-native solutions. Organize and manage version control systems effectively. Install, configure, and support Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and associated software in both physical and virtual environments. Expertise in AWS cloud platform tools for data and process monitoring. Administer AWS accounts, roles, and permissions. Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and VPN. Experience with Posit Workbench Enterprise is a plus. Troubleshoot connectivity issues from client software/device through to ISP. Create technical documentation using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project). Exhibit a strong professional presence and the ability to confidently handle technical matters. Flexible to work occasional hours outside of the regular schedule. Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to work independently. Industry certifications are considered a bonus.
