Role: Business Analyst with Biotech experience Location: 3 days a week in San Francisco, CA Contract Length: 12 months to start Looking for a BSA with a Biology Degree, must come from a science background. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Contribute to the delivery of informatics solutions that are cost effective, scalable, fit for purpose, and meet business requirements. Perform business analysis to understand and contribute to current and future needs of informatics systems Translate business needs into technical requirements Partner closely with scientists, scientific researchers, developers, informatics engineers, informatics analysts, and data scientists/analysts to envision, implement, and support informatics tools and business process Accountable for documentation including, but not limited to, user requirements, functional and/or technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and training documentation Drives resolution of system or process issues. Provides consultation to customers regarding enhancement/improvement of current solutions and implementation of new solutions both systems and processes. Competences and Qualifications: Proven track record of leading business analysis for software implementations in a large scale organization Excellent people and communication skills. Systems thinking skills Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships. Excellent people and communication skills.
