ZOOM & Glider online test screening will be conducted.(Tell candidate it's total 10 minutes) Title - Business Intelligence Analyst Location - Remote 100% Job Description MUST HAVE (YEARS) 8 Required Reporting Experience with Business Intelligence Report Writing best practices 8 Required Reporting Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement 8 Required Reporting Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms 8 Required Reporting Experience with PeopleSoft 8 Required State of Texas Budget and Finance experience, using CAPPS 8 Required Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products 8 Required Strong communication skills, presenting complex financial information to users/stakeholders PREFERRED 7 Preferred Reporting Experience with TCAPPS Peoplesoft 5 Preferred TCAPPS Financials modules implementation or post-go live experience with an emphasis on reporting activities 5 Preferred Knowledge of TCAPPS configurations and budgetary structure. 5 Preferred TCAPPS Budget and Reporting Policies and Business Processes The worker will provide support to TEA's Financial Data Scientist and/or Finance Division and may be directed to assist with query and report development for all PeopleSoft modules. This includes but is not limited to review of all current queries utilized by DIR financial staff and make recommendation and or changes to the queries to bring them to current CAPPS standards. The worker will provide coordination of efforts, including, but not limited to all phases of the additional report design and development, assist with UAT, and Training; as well as follow up support. All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the TEA. The worker must have a strong background in States of Texas Financial Business Processes, Query Development, Business Objects 3.1 or 4.0 (or higher) and it is preferred if the candidate has provided query data that has been utilized by other visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and the like.
