Position Summary/Job Description: Below are some of the responsibilities this product manager is expected to assume in their position: Working directly with business partners (internal and external) to fully understand their business problems and use that understanding to drive the Subscriptions protection platform priorities and delivery Be able to clearly articulate goals and outcomes Create and drive a roadmap that will show how business continuity will be maintained while propelling the business into a better way of obtaining data Partner with individuals and influence without authority in order to get objectives met Drive a culture of innovation and Build, Measure, Learn cycle in the team Meeting with key stakeholders, listening to and understanding customer feedback, and responding to product suggestions Define and track key performance indicators to measure success of Protection Plans platform Define and document product epics and stories, and manage a healthy prioritized backlog Collaborate and partner with the engineering team to ensure story content is understood; the need, value, acceptance criteria are clear and complete Actively participate in squad ceremonies Accountable for what is delivered and can demonstrate and communicate with stakeholders that their needs are being met Skills Overview: What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job - A bachelors degree in business, computer science, or a related field - High level of comfort with technology and its development - Experience understanding data, data models, data queries and familiarity with ETL processes - A minimum of 5 years experience in product management or a related field - Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills - Experience with Technical/platform products - Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions - Ruthlessly prioritize and focus on product features that can drive maximum impact with minimal resources What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for - CSPO certification Project Description: The Product Manager III is part of the Subscriptions team within the Digital, Analytics and Technology (DAT) org at Best Buy. We are looking for a Product Manager to join us that will be responsible for understanding and evolving our protection plan platform. This product manager will need to work with peers and cross functional stakeholders to understand the products we are supporting and how the data we generate supports the business needs. They will also need to work with engineers to understand the data published, be responsible for the quality of the data that is transferred from the old system to the new. This individual must be able to work with multiple teams to ensure the data is setup accurately.
