Project Summary: The developers key function will be to maintain the already expanded current AAB system to support new additional requirements as mandated by legislation. A key provision is to have functionality to support appeals from agents and homeowners alike. The developer will need to alter, update, expand and maintain AAB Web Application from the import of the data to the processing of the data, through the CRUD (create, read, update, delete) interface, to the exporting/reporting of the data. This includes altering, updating, expanding and/or creating the underlying database tables; database queries, processes and procedures; corresponding methods in the web application; the HTML/CSS interface; reports; and the Windows services which handle the data and the import and export processes. The developer will also need to document the major parts and processes; ensure that the code is well commented and documented; revise the error and exception message handling so that they give a better description of the errors and exceptions when they occur; should write or update instructions on how to maintain the application; instructions on how to examine and investigate errors and be available for assistance as problems arise.
