Title: SAP PP Consultant Location: San Antonio, TX Duration: 6-12 months contract to start ..Locals preferred USC/GC's preferred Client is looking for a strong Sr. SAP PP Consultant to roll out a new plant in ECC. Initial onsite but later will be remote, basically hybrid. Expenses will be paid by client. Description : The PP Consultant analyzes complex business problems to be solved with SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA) and other associated business applications. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, offer enhanced business performance and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit and integration testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design, configuration, and functional experience in the MM/PP modules is essential and understanding of other SAP modules would be of great benefit to the role. Skills Required: Understand the manufacturing and manufacturing planning side of the business and how SAP can best be used to meet business objectives. Solution design for all projects in the manufacturing and manufacturing planning functional areas including associated integrations. Strong SAP technical, configuration, and business area knowledge in PP module. Be able to configure the module at a project level. Familiar with Variant Configuration usage in a manufacturing Make to Order scenario required. Translate users requests into application system solutions. Analyze system user requirements to define and design system configuration, enhancements, and modifications Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems Define requirements for specific forms/reports Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test results Assist with updating end-user documentation, coordinate end-user training documentation and train end users as required. Strong user experience and project experience of SAP and detailed SAP technical configuration knowledge and business process knowledge of SAP PP Modules. Knowledge of MM a plus. Experience with PLM integration and how to setup in SAP preferred. Additional familiarly with procurement and supply chain preferred but not required. Prior experience in an S/4 environment preferred including ability to articulate differences from R/3 to S/4. Familiar with working in an integrated SAP environment with single controlling area across multiple countries and multiple functions working across multiple company codes and regions. Proven understanding of database applications, system development, report writing, and SAP ERP.
